Query Language

The text search engine allows queries to be formed from arbitrary Boolean expressions containing the keywords AND, OR, and NOT, and grouped with parentheses. For example:

HMO PPO

finds documents containing 'HMO' or 'PPO'

HMO or PPO

same as above

HMO and PPO

finds documents containing both 'HMO' and 'PPO'

HMO not PPO

finds documents containing 'HMO' but not 'PPO'

(HMO not PPO) and POS

finds documents containing 'POS', plus 'HMO' but not 'PPO'

health*

finds documents containing words starting with 'health'
